Precast Wind Power Concrete Tower
The wind power tower is the foundational tower component of a wind turbine, primarily serving a support function. It also absorbs the vibration energy of the generator and can resist wind loads. The segmented prestressed concrete tower is composed of concrete tower segments, external prestressed steel strands, steel tower tubes, ladder elevators, and other components, enabling the main unit to reach heights of 140 meters or more. This provides secure support for the wind turbine to access higher wind speeds.
The prefabricated concrete segments are locally produced using high-precision molds to ensure timely supply of the concrete towers while reducing the cost and risk associated with long-distance transportation of large-diameter steel towers. The concrete tower has high structural rigidity, a high damping ratio, and excellent dynamic performance. Over its entire life cycle, the concrete tower offers greater safety and lower operational and maintenance costs. Additionally, it significantly increases the power generation capacity of the wind turbine, meeting the investment return requirements of owners in the era of grid parity.
